Smartening up

A question for the Blog. Most of us had our moment as a fan when we suddenly got smartened up to the fact that wrestling is pre-determined. For myself, it was when I was 13 and attending WWF One Night Only in Birmingham, and a steward at the arena told me and my mate he'd seen the wrestlers practising their matches earlier in the day. I then met a guy a few years older than me who started telling me all he know about the workings of the biz (which probably wasn't much in retrospect). So who smartened you up? Or did you always know it was a work? Who smartened Scott?

I generally knew from watching Stampede, but the final straw was Hulk kicking out of Savage’s elbow at WM5. That was the point of no return for me.
