Hope for Smackdown?

It boggles the mind that for months they knew they had this FOX deal in place and a bigger budget to sign stars, change production design, etc.
Despite that they’ve managed to make the show worse than it was prior to moving to FOX and it seems to get more abysmal by the week. No one wants to see Roman vs. Baron every week battling over dog food. There are no underserved dog food fetish wrestling fans out there. So what would be your fix if you had a say? Shift HHH and Shawn to Smackdown and give them a blank canvas? Change up the roster? Change the venues or format of the show? There’s no reason with the total collection of talent they have on the roster that they can’t produce a more engaging weekly product.

Yeah, the main problem with Smackdown is that it has no reason to exist. It’s a show on Friday that’s sometimes good and mostly dull. It’s the same Miz/Kofi/Dolph midcard that’s been around for 10 years now. Yeah they’ve got new tag partners at the moment but eventually they all go back to the same guys feuding with the same other guys. Like, why do the Undisputed Era and Dijak and DIY even need to be on NXT? They’ve got HUNDREDS of people under contract to fill two hours on Wednesday and mess with AEW. Just bring up some new people and push them, it’s not hard.
