Daily News Update – January 6 2020

Hope everyone had a New Japan-riffic weekend! Unless you were trying to watch Night Two on New Japan World, apparently. It was actually taken down on Sunday and I haven’t checked if it’s accessible again this morning, but I need a break from it for a bit anyway.

To the news…

DATELINE: Will Ospreay suffered a heel injury on the show. I’m sure that’ll only slow him down to, like, 6 dates a week.

DATELINE: Combined attendance for both shows was 70,000 people. With conversion from the yen that’s only 7000 people, though.

DATELINE: The Dusty Classic kicks off this week on NXT. You all know my feelings on tag team wrestling and tournaments, but the last couple of years have been pretty disappointing.
