Big Daddy Meltz right on the money!

I strongly disagree with the emailers subject line here. If I wanted NXT, I’d watch NXT. I like it, and I like watching it, but AEW has actual emotional investment with me, whereas NXT comes off as match-match-match-ladder match too much on the weekly TV. I like some goofy shit interjected into the show, it’s just the execution that’s a problem sometimes. And the Elite jobbing so damn much. NWA Powerrr was a really good compromise between the two extremes for me, but you know what happened there.

Also, wrestling fans are fickle toxic shitheads much of the time, especially on Reddit, so maybe let’s just give AEW some more time to figure itself out.
