So back at Survivor Series last month, which feels like ages ago, there were 2 interesting world title matches based on names alone.

Universal Championship match had Wyatt defending against Bryan and WWE Championship match had Lesnar defending against Mysterio.

Now these are both rematches of 5 years ago with Bryan/Wyatt and 16 years ago with Brock/Rey.

Can you even imagine something from the Attitude Era or Rock and Wrestling Era being rehashed that many years later?

Besides the death part, it would seem way out of context and crazy to imagine.

Basically, to make a long story short, how stale and repetitive has wrestling gotten when they repeat matches from years ago and it doesn’t even feel that weird whereas in the past it would have been unthinkable?
