Survivor Seriezzzz
By Scott Keith on November 23, 2019
We’ve already tackled the brand supremacy nonsense for Survivor Series, but don’t these titles matches feel flat as well? Rey vs. Brock should be fun, but there’s a less than zero chance any of the three world champions actually lose their titles.
Of the ten hours of stuff WWE has planned this weekend, I think Finn Balor vs. Matt Riddle is the only match that piques my interest. Not that there won’t be good wrestling on both shows, but it’s just been such an onslaught of garbage booking of late that it’s tough to care about any of it. This leads me to two questions…
1.) Are you legitimately interested in anything that’s planned for this weekend’s shows?
2.) Do you think WWE has the slightest thing planned for even the Raw after Survivor Series, let alone the Road to WrestleMania?
1. I feel like Matt Riddle v. Finn Balor should be really good and the WarGames matches might be awesome, but two of them on the same show is a bit much. I don't know if you could tell from my nuanced take on Smackdown's booking, but I couldn't care less about Survivor Series and the build is doing nothing for me.
2. Well, it's time for the federally mandated TLC show in December, and we know we're already getting Roman v. King Corbin in a dog collar match, and probably Fiend against Daniel Bryan again, and apparently Asuka and Kairi defending the tag titles against Charlotte and someone (Becky?) so they must have some notion at least.
