The two day WK problem

So Ibushi wins the G1 setting up a huge title match with Okada, but it’s night 1? And the winner has to defend it night 2 vs the IC Champ (Naito or White) in a title for title match???

a) doesn’t this completely give away that Okada is retaining night 1?

b) doesn’t this undercut the G1 if Ibushi doesn’t walk out champion

c) if say Naito ends up as a double champion on 1/5, why bother building months to Ibushi/Okada

Just seems weird to try to book a main event title feud with the possibility that it’s all pointless one day later

I think by now we've built up a LITTLE bit of goodwill for Gedo and can trust that he knows what he's doing with this stuff.
