What the World Was Watching: WCW Worldwide – October 21, 1995

By LScisco on October 16, 2019

–Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are in the booth and they are taped from Orlando, Florida.

Early footage of this episode is incomplete, but the American Males (7-0) and the Zodiac (1-0) won squash matches.

–The Disco Inferno (5-2) beats Chris Kanyon after an inverted DDT at 2:42:

Disco spends much of this squash dancing, antagonizing the Disney crowd who takes the liberty to boo a lot of his act. Kanyon scores a near-fall with a body press but a dropkick misses and an awkward inverted DDT sends him to the showers.

–Johnny B. Badd (41-5-2) defeated Sergeant Craig Pittman (37-6) after a small package at 3:49:

The Cobra feud killed Pittman’s momentum as he has been alternating between wins and losses since it began. These two wrestled on the August 13 edition of Main Event, with Badd winning via count out when Pittman got freaked out by a Morse Code message. Pittman dominates the match, working over Badd’s arm without mercy. However, when Pittman tries to slam Badd into the ring, Badd reverses his weight and small packages Pittman to triumph. It is surprising that they booked Pittman so strong as Badd is in line to wrestle for the television title. Rating: *

The Last Word: As the highlights of this show suggest, it was another forgettable Disney MGM show with nothing to report as far as angle advancement or notable matches.
