We’re busting out the Wrestle-Sleaze already?

Anyway, tonight is the NFL opener, as Green Bay and Chicago face off.

Meanwhile, if you have IndependentWrestling.TV, take some time to watch CRAB Wrestling’s August show, “Alpha Ox”. It was a monumental show, so worth checking out. I still do the backstage interviewing, but instead of Andrew McHale, I’m called Andy Tampa. (The name wasn’t my idea, but hell, the locker room thinks it’s cool.)

Speaking of independent wrestling, let’s look at a few extra shows!

Only a couple shows to mention as I’ve been keeping track of family and friends down south with Dorian, but I had to mention these two:

• It’s that time of year again, as CHIKARA unleashes Chikarasaurus Rex! Saturday afternoon sees both the singles (Dasher Hatfield against Mick Moretti) and tag (FIST against Lucas Calhoun and Stray Kat) titles defended as well as the finals of the Johnny Kidd Invitational (Green Ant II faces Ophidian)! Penelope Ford faces BLANK, J.F. de Coronado takes on Jakob Hammermeier, and Joey Janela says goodbye to the indies against Mike Quackenbush himself!
• Dropkick Depression is a non-profit organized by Terra Calaway (who is a very good person). Shows are designed to bring awareness to how depression affects everyone — you’d be surprised how many wrestlers it hits — and raise money to help combat mental illness. I bring them up because Saturday night in Old Bridge, NJ, they will be hosting Born to Fight III. While the card is very good (Calaway will face Ophidian, while Slade/Gacy/Razerhawk is a triple threat match), the important thing here is to support the cause.
