I remember in one of the older observer posts you talked for a bit about the philosophy of some bookers that wrestlers should always wear suits and appear to be at least a little rich as it helps to separate them from the audience and make them seem like they're in a better class of living. Do you think that wrestling schools being in the public eye, and practically everyone in the WWE having the "I was a fan, like you!" gimmick hurts or helps?
Hurts. I want larger than life characters who can provide escapism, not Seth Rollins sharing the details of his engagement on Instagram. There's a reason why the Rock N Roll Express didn't go around advertising their marriages to the general public.
