Scott norton most overpaid wrestler of the Monday night Wars?

From rich flairs biography and death of WCW, I recall a few breakdowns of their highest paid wrestlers during the Monday night Wars. No hard numbers, just general (they have the biggest contracts).

Considering the names and the accomplishments of some I recall, I have to wonder why scott norton was paid so much. Bischoff seemed to abandon pushing him very early on but somehow he was getting paid a ton despite his low spot on the card.

Now you could argue that celebrities were overpaid, but I’m not counting them. I’m specifically focusing on those who were previously wrestlers that had contracts far greater than they should have been.

I supposed you might include Warrior, but at least he had name value, where Norton was just big in Japan. I know I recall hearing Stevie Ray was fairly well paid, but he was also in a popular team Harlem Heat and was pretty busy despite being shuffled among various factions.

Who do you feel was the most overpaid wrestler of the Monday night Wars? Someone who was paid a ton without really being worth it? I’m open to hearing your thoughts an dreasoning begins it..
