Hey Scott, I hope all is well. I was listening to Bully Ray today and he stated CM Punk would not matter returning to WWE and going to AEW would bring more shock value and more eyes to the TV. I for one dont agree, I think CM Punk returning to WWE would be more shocking given the history involved in him leaving. Also, I think Heyman plays a key role and WWE can protect him more. Let's face it, CM Punk left because he was beat up and worn down physically. He went the MMA route and was beat up and was injured a few times training. I dont think he can work AEW which is more wrestling than entertainment. Sure he may pop a rating one night in AEW, but if he cannot work, it will not matter. Plus, AEW only sold out the first taping because of scalpers buying who now cannot unload the tickets. I can get AEW tickets for $8.00.


Two of AEW's biggest stars are a guy dressed as a dinosaur and his best friend the feral boy from the jungle. I think Punk would be fine.
