Best Booking Audible?

What do you think was the best booking audible-change from original plans? If anything topped having Steve Austin win the 1996 King Of The Ring instead of Triple H, I'm not remembering it. Obviously it worked out for HHH, but the timing there for Austin was crucial.

Maybe in WWE's documentary version of history it was. In the real world he still hung out in the midcard doing nothing until Bret Hart made him a star at Survivor Series and then again at Wrestlemania.
