AEW/Impact

Watched AAA Triplemania on Twitch last night – first of all, fantastic show, and I thought Matt Striker would be a huge upgrade to Alex Marvez for AEW – but seeing so much talent that are current or very recently former Impact talents had me thinking…

Would it be advisable in your opinion for Tony Khan to be speaking to Impact about acquiring the promotion, buying out some talent contracts, or at least working out a working relationship ala what AEW has with AAA? It just seems like Tessa Blanchard, Taya, Tenille Dashwood would be definite assets in the AEW women's division, and there are probably at least a few male talents that also fit that bill. Killer Kross and Scarlet are recently departed from Impact, so I think Cody and Tony could talk to them anyway – should they be?

I know that AEW is very focused on also developing new stars and they should, but would talking to Impact about either a talent or company purchase be something they should look at?

You lost me at Matt Striker being an upgrade on anyone.
Regardless, Impact already offered to sell and the Khans had zero interest. It’s a worthless brand and the only value will be when it dies and WWE gets the video library for cheap.
