Hey Scott, looking back at WCW post Flair, is there anyone they could have realistically brought in or an angle they could have run to turn business around? Even in a crazy fantasy scenario, like if they were able to snag the Ultimate Warrior in fall 91, would
something like a Sting/Warrior – Dangerous Alliance feud have saved the abysmal numbers they were drawing? Were there expectations on Rick Rude to give the company a boost?

Luger was supposed to be the guy carrying the company before he decided that bodybuilding was his passion instead. And also Rude, as you noted. And Sting of course. I think the pieces were there but there was just too much Because WCW going on, to be honest.
