Famous To Non Fans

Hi Scott.

I go to a local pub quiz every week and the first round is normally a picture round, pictures of celebrities who have their birthday's that week or have been in the news or whatever reason.

Last week, one of the pictures was Shawn Michaels. It was a team mate who spotted him and I agreed that it was him.

However, this is just a normal bog standard pub quiz, it's not for pro wrestling fans. In fact, we were the only team that got him.

So, it got me thinking. Obviously, everyone who reads this blog knows who Michaels is, but how famous is he to the non wrestling fan. Rock, Cena, Hogan, Austin etc, yeah, famous worldwide. But Michaels?

I wonder also how many other wrestlers would be famous to non wrestling fans?

I don't think Michaels is that famous to non-fans. However, my Macho Man '85 t-shirt is on regular rotation when I'm out and about, and I get people who recognize it all the time, so I'd him to the list.
