Cena’s Time is Now

Hey Scott,

Just wanted to piggyback off my comment in one of the recent threads about how crappy WWE’s product is right now.

If John Cena calls Vince up tomorrow and said he’s free for the next 2-3 months, how fast do they move to give him cart blanche?

More importantly, is there any reason not to basically make him the focal point?

I’m not even a fan of his but he has so much more star power than anyone else in the company right now it’s scary.

Anyway, just wanted to hear your thoughts.

John is really, REALLY broken down though. His last couple of runs completely exposed how little he's got left in the tank. What he COULD do is act as some kind of on-screen authority figure and be pretty funny at it. But I don't think he'd want to do that, and they wouldn't want to pay him for that.
