What's up Scott,

Was watching some past NXT stuff and Corey really had a unique look to go along with some pretty good mic work and decent in ring ability. Where do you think his ceiling was had he not been forced to retire?

Not much past NXT. He was already on the tail end of his career when he got there and cashed his last bump card. He wasn't going to the main roster to be a star or anything and he was just part of that weird in-between groups of guys at the end of FCW and before the modern era of NXT. Like they had a bunch of low-level indy guys who wouldn't be able to hang with the PWG type of crew that was coming soon anyway. Look at what happened to Bo Dallas, for example.
