Sean O’Haire as a worker
By Scott Keith on May 31, 2019
For those not around in 2003, WWE gave former WCW guy Sean O'Haire a Devils Advocate gimmick where he'd try to convince people to do bad things. It created some buzz and he did well in the vignettes building it up
It ended up going nowhere though, and by the summer he was just "tattooed big guy with weird haircut and trenchcoat"
My question to you Scott is, even if they'd supported the character more, was O'Haire good enough in the ring to justify it?
I liked him in WCW as hot tag guy who could do high flying moves, but did he have the chops for a top of the card heel run?
This gets talked about as a missed opportunity for WWE, but is that really the case?
I'm pretty sure that if Scott Steiner and Kane and Kevin Nash could get all get main event runs in 2003, Sean O'Haire was at least worth a shot, yes.
