Worst decision to break-up a tag team?

What do you think was the worst decision to split up a tag team in lieu of making 1 or both members singles stars? It may be a case of recency bias, but I'd have to go with American Alpha.
New Age Outlaws. Flushed hundreds of thousands of merch money down the toilet for Billy's failed singles push and then put them back together months later out of desperation, at which point it was already too late to salvage it.
