WWF suing WCW

Did the WWF sue WCW when Madusa showed up on Nitro and threw the WWF Women's Title in the trash? If so, what was the end result of the lawsuit?
Yes, they sued the ever loving bejesus out of them for using WWF intellectual property. The end result was WCW paying out a lot of money via undisclosed settlement and Bischoff never trying it again. Which is why the idea of Bret showing up with the belt on Nitro was so ridiculous. Turner’s lawyers made it clear that it would never happen again.
