Did Dean get to where he should of been? Or do you think he could of been bigger, maybe overachieved? Reason I ask is because back when he was doing house show loops for eternity, pre Shield. Guys like Punk and Regal were calling him the next big thing in wrestling due to his mic skills. I remember alot of people who saw him on the Indies thought so as well.
He got to be WWE champion and got a Wrestlemania payday against Brock Lesnar, so I'd say he overachieved. He probably could have been a better long term US or IC champion, but he's leaving with much higher stock than he had when he came in, so his run was a success, I'd say.
