Lashley is beating The Demon at WM

Hey Scott,

I'm thinking Lashley is going to beat The Demon at WrestleMania. Hear me out. It follows with their recent booking trend of breaking streaks at WM — the build for Taker/Brock was so piss poor everybody thought Taker was a lock and Brock was an after thought. And then the shocking win was super memorable.

Same thing happened with Charlotte/Asuka last year. I didn't see that coming at all because it was such an after thought.

Even the Sting/HHH match made me think Sting was 100% winning. And Reigns/Brock from last year.

They seem to enjoy bucking expectations at WM and breaking streaks. I think everyone is 100% expecting The Demon to come out and squash Lashley. So, instead, I'm predicting Lashley beats The Demon so they can get their shocked audience shots, and the Lashley becomes the #1 heel on RAW to challenge Rollins or Reigns or even Brock.

Thoughts?

You lost me with "Lashley becomes the #1…" anything. Merchandising money is king, and they're not flushing away Demon Balor merchandise just to be dicks. Balor wins the title on Sunday.
