Triple H and The Rock – Career Parallels

Would you agree The Rock has continuously been the only guy in the business to one-up Hunter regularly with half the effort and twice the style?
Both started in the WWE at roughly the same time and careers paralleled but Hunter continued to be outclassed. Here is the sequence of events:
HHH tries to make it to the WWF for years, Rock gets in after 6 months because of family connections.
HHH's punishment for the curtain call finally ends and he wins the IC title. Then has to lose to a green as hell Rocky Maivia shortly afterwards.
After a long DX/Nation feud, HHH finally comes out on top, defeating Rock in a ladder match for the IC title. Rock gets elevated to main event and wins the World title.
After years in the business, HHH finally gets respect by winning the World title and being the dominant heel of the company, Rock makes it in Hollywood.
HHH marries Stephanie and secures a position that guarantees he will run the company one day, Rock, now a household name/A-Lister, becomes the biggest star in Hollywood.
You could definitely make a case, sure. It seems like HHH has been eternally jealous of the guy. Maybe they should do a match in Saudi Arabia!
