NXT vs Main Roster

I know you've answered various forms of questions regarding NXT pay vs main roster, and whether a guy would rather stay down and be over, or come up and disappear/become a jobber. It seems like the answer has consistently been that pay is much better for the main roster guys. Can you give any sense of HOW MUCH better it is, though, because it seems to make no sense. I look forward to the NXT shows way more than main roster, and they never disappoint. I would pay my hard-earned money to watch Ciampa, Gargano, the UE guys, etc any time they are in my area – meanwhile, if stiffs like Jinder, Titus, Roode, Dolph, etc were wrestling in my back yard, I'd pull down the shades. Do the NXT guys at least get a pay bump for the Takeovers, when they're selling out an arena vs the Full Sail bingo hall? Thanks and keep up the great work.
It varies a lot now. It used to be a set thing where NXT guys made developmental money, but now guys sign NXT-specific contracts that often pay them close to what they'd get on the main roster, so it doesn't really matter if they move up immediately or not. But we don't really know specifics because obviously contract details aren't posted online. Unless Proposition 304 passes, and we all pray it will.
