Next big guy is RIGHT THERE

With Roman out it seemed obvious that Rollins would be the top face, maybe headline WrestleMania and face Brock, but that TLC match got me thinking about what a colossal bust Seth has been as a top face. His entire elevation in the company was as a heel, his crowning achievement a surprise cash in at WM in the middle of a match the crowd didn’t want.

As a babyface his match with HHH was LONG and slow, his main event Ironman vs Ziggler was a slog that had fans cheering a clock, and his Ambrose feud is fizzling before our eyes. So if they need a top babyface to face Brock at Mania… why not AJ Styles!
He’s coming off a year run as WWE Champion and is still the most over top babyface in the company. He has a legit issue with Brock, and was denied the rematch at Survivor Series. Have him win the Rumble and switch shows to take the one major prize he hasn’t captured yet and slay the one dragon he has left. You can send Rollins to SDL to fill the gap and have 4-5 matches with Bryan. AJ can spend the spring/summer feuding with Dean and Lashley before he drops it to Drew at SummerSlam.

AJ winning the Rumble and challenging Brock is 100% a possibility. I don't see Brock dropping the title anytime soon, though. I think he's gonna steamroll whoever the WM opponent ends up being and continue holding the belt hostage until Vince finds his real next big thing.
