This week in action are Money Inc., Razor Ramon, and Crush. Plus, an interview with Shawn Michaels.

Money Inc. w/ Jimmy Hart vs. George Anderson & Rock Werner

Gorilla lets us know that Nasty Boys are the #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles. IRS beats on Anderson to start. The champs stay in control then IRS puts Werner away with the Write Off Clothesline (2:11).

Thoughts: This confirmed a Nasty Boys/Money Inc. feud for the Tag Team Titles.

WWF Special Report with Lord Alfred Hayes. Same as“Superstars”where we saw the Razor Ramon & Ric Flair interview as they left the arena after Survivor Series.

Papa Shango vs. Jim Powers

Heenan is still heated over what happened at Survivor Series with Mr. Perfect. Powers uses his speed to elude Shango but eventually gets caught. Shango tosses Powers into the corner and hammers away but misses an avalanche as Powers rolls him up for two. Powers runs into a clothesline after failing to take Shango over with a sunset flip as the announcers talk about voodoo. Heenan wants to know if Shango would cast a curse on Perfect then Shango stays in control until hitting a reverse shoulderbreaker for the win (2:59). We see the clown back in the stands. Shango shoots sparks out of his stick.

Thoughts: The focus on commentary was Heenan ranting about Perfect and we saw the clown once again. It’s also telling how much Shango’s stock has fallen as his match was just a backdrop to discuss a main storyline. Once that happens it means the company does not have anything for you to do.

Crush vs. Brian Costello

Gorilla understands that Crush is a proponent of ICOPRO. Crush works the leg as Gorilla puts over Bret Hart as an impressive champion while Heenan said Bret will not last long as champion if he keeps giving everyone title shots. Crush overpowers Costello then puts him away with a head vice (2:34).

Thoughts: Crush’s physique continues to get played up while on commentary the theme was that Bret’s constant defenses will cost him the title.

Yokozuna w/ Mr. Fuji vs. Buck Zumhoffe

Fuji still wearing his suit here as this was from the tapings prior to the Survivor Series. Zumhoffe bounces off of Yokozuna then gets planted with an uranage. Yokozuna hits an avalanche in the corner then knocks Zumhoffe down. Yokozuna does his poses then screams “banzai” before hitting a sit-down splash from the middle rope (1:55). Heenan wants to know how could anyone slam Yokozuna.

Thoughts: Yokozuna has been awesome in every TV appearance so far and shows a great presence.

Lance Cassidy vs. Brooklyn Brawler

Heenan tells us how he hates country and Western music. Brawler stalls after shoving Cassidy during a break in the ropes. The announcers talk about Kamala now that he got stuffed into a coffin as Cassidy shows a nice flurry of offense. Cassidy works the arm but Brawler drops him throat-first across of the top rope. Brawler misses a charge in the corner as we hear from Cassidy in an insert promo saying he does everything with 100% and follows with some really corny stuff that Heenan makes fun of then Cassidy puts Brawler away with a flying clothesline (3:08).

Thoughts: The Cassidy character is just awful. No wonder he left the company just several weeks after this aired.

An ad for the WWF Fan Club airs.

Gene Okerlund welcomes Shawn Michaels to the interview platform. Shawn wants Okerlund to congratulate him for being the Intercontinental Champion and said it was easy to win and is ready for all comers. Okerlund asks him about Marty Jannetty as Shawn said Marty was so petrified of him that he dove through the Barber Shop window like he was Superman. Okerlund said he heard that Shawn has yet to contact Sherri to see if she is okay but Shawn claims Marty intentionally attacked a woman. Shawn then said he knows Sherri is out there watching along with a billion other women and sit by the phone because when he has time he’ll give her a call. Shawn says he will prove to be the sexiest Intercontinental Champion of all-time before telling us that he is leaving the building. Shawn did some great heel work here especially with regards to Sherri. And they set up for Sherri to return and get revenge on Shawn too.

WT Jones vs. Max Moon

The announcers talk about Shawn and Marty as Moon takes Jones over with an arm drag. Moon works the arm until Jones rakes the eyes. Moon regains control and hits a butterfly suplex. Moon then hits a kick in the corner and a bulldog before using a flying body press for the win (2:15). Heenan says that Moon will make a lot of money in the WWF.

Thoughts: This was a backdrop for the announcers to discuss the Shawn/Marty feud.

Razor Ramon vs. Mark Morgan

Before heading into the ring, Razor walks towards Mike McGuirk and asks for a kiss as she looks petrified. Heenan makes fun of McGuirk for being a bimbo. Razor chops Morgan in the corner before tossing him across the ring. We hear from Razor in an insert promo as he promises to treat Perfect like a “punk in the street” as Razor hits Morgan with an uranage. Razor then hits a super back suplex before the Razor’s Edge gets the win (2:26). Heenan cannot wait to see Razor hit Perfect with that move then laughs like a lunatic.

Thoughts: Looks like both Razor & Flair will be feuding with Perfect as Savage is being cast aside.

Next week, we will hear from Mr. Perfect. In action are Bam Bam Bigelow, The Headshrinkers, Crush, and Marty Jannetty.

Final Thoughts: More Survivor Series fallout with focus on the feuds going forward as we head into the new year.
