The BLACK FRIDAY News Update
By Scott Keith on November 23, 2018
I’m up super-early for work today anyway, so here’s the Black Friday news!
According to the latest Observer, a group called All Elite Wrestling has filed for various wrestling-related trademarks, including “Tuesday Night Dynamite” and a PPV called “Double or Nothing” that seems to be the natural fit for All In’s sequel. The group is backed by some very rich people, including Shahid Khan (owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars) and his son Tony Khan, who is a big wrestling fan. This seems like it could be the mystery promotion that is the final destination for the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega next year.
Speaking of the Observer, Big Dave is running a Black Friday sale on access to the site, at only $3.99 for the month!

For those looking for a complete freakshow to watch this weekend, Chuck Liddell fights Tito Ortiz on PPV in a show promoted by Oscar De La Hoya where he’s claiming 400,000 buys is a thing that might happen. It’s available to stream on FITE.tv if you’re inclined to watch two people drop dead in the middle of a cage.
And finally, to inspire you before heading out for shopping today, here’s Jushin Liger throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game before it goes HORRIBLY WRONG! Because Japan.
Enjoy the day and be nice to us retail workers! NO TRAMPLING!
