Rey Rey and the stupidity of the WWE

I know you don't watch Raw or Smackdown weekly, but something happened on Tuesday that make me just pity Corey Graves for having to say it. The main event was Rey vs Orton and Orton started pulling on the mask finally ripping it off Rey. Rey obviously is covering his fave and Graves is talking about how Rey has to hide his face yadda, yadda, yadda. Anyway my point is that they have 2 years of shows on their own fucking network showing Rey without his mask on. Why does it matter again all of a sudden?

See, now that's exactly the attitude that got Rey unmasked in the first place. It matters because there's a high percentage of the audience who weren't watching Nitro at that point, and you'll also notice that WWE never promotes or shows any footage from those appearances any longer. They've effectively erased that time and made the mask mean something again, because they're SMART.
