Was Shane always the one to win the World Cup?

Hi Scott,

1) Was Shane always the one to win the World Cup, or did they just change it to this throwaway ending as the controversy kept building with Crown Jewel?

2) Do you think they're going to show the usual intro after a PPV with still photos of Crown Jewel?

3) Even if they even mention "Crown Jewel" on Monday, do you think we'll ever hear those 2 words again after Monday?

1. Miz was injured! Putting the promoter's son over in the finals was LITERALLY the only option that they had available to them! It's not like they could have just declared the match over and awarded it to Ziggler due to ref stoppage. Geez, think, people.

2. Maybe, but how will we know the difference between still photos and the actual action in the main event?

3. Given the entire promotion seems to be in full-blown trolling mode now, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
