Help me understand this
By Scott Keith on October 25, 2018
I've seen the trolls coming out saying that this Roman Reigns situation is a work, and I thank you for calling one of them out earlier this week on a post. Say what you will about the WWE, but they have been doing amazing work to raise money for cancer research and have provided more support to cancer patients and survivors than probably any company, even if it is in their own self interest. There is no chance that they would imply someone has cancer as a work(although they had no problem capitalizing on it with the Ambrose turn).
Here is my question-if he truly was diagnosed with Leukemia many years ago, how is this the first time that the fans have been made aware of it? I know that he has a right to privacy, but wow, they've done a lot to make him the NEXT GUY for years without success, and they didn't mention this? Cena's Make a Wish work has been the reason that a lot of fans(myself included) have kept supporting him as a face for years…now we find out that one of his previous rivals is a cancer survivor?
Can you explain this? And please don't suggest that the WWE medical staff didn't know about it because they have refused to clear many people before for a lot less.
I don't really see where it would be relevant for anyone to know unless he was currently suffering from the disease. At which point we immediately found out.
