Sunday Night Reset (ft. Nova Pro): October 21, 2018
By Andy PG on October 21, 2018
With baseball having the night off, the big game tonight is Cincinnati vs Kansas City in the NFL.
Another reason wrestling is the best: when a random punchup occurs, no one gets suspended. (Chris Paul out 2, Rajon Rondo out 3, Brandon Ingram out 4.)
Lots of UFC on FS1.
After the jump, NOVA Pro results.
Your results from the NOVA Pro Sadie Hawkins Invitational as it went down Friday night:
- Ray Vex pinned Leo Kirby with a jack-knife cradle at 7:54 to win the CPW Mid-Atlantic Title.
- Josh Fuller won a 12-man battle royal at 7:50. He hid under the ring the entire time, lucking out when Alex Herzog and Paul Jordane eliminated each other to empty the ring. All he had to do was climb back in for the win. He gets a match of his choice; he will cash that in Dec. 15 when he faces Swoggle.
- Harlow O’Hara pinned Rachel Ellering at 8:21 with the fisherman’s DDT to qualify for the Sadie Hawkins Invitational (replacing Jordynne Grace and Jonathan Gresham). Her chosen partner was Kevin Blackwood.
- POP Culture (Jason Cade and Veda Scott) defeated Work Yourself Into A Shoot (John Kermon and Jordan Blade) when both of them pinned Kermon at 10:43 following a Stratusfaction/frog splash combo.
- The AristoKats (Allie Kat and Maxwell Jacob Friedman) pinned Bad & Boujee (Logan Easton Laroux and Penelope Ford) in 11:14 when Allie pinned Logan after both team members gave him separate piledrivers.
- The Breaux & The Babe (Breaux Keller and Willow Nightingale) defeated We Have Everyone Including Each Other (Harlow O’Hara and Kevin Blackwood) at 9:56 when Willow pinned O’Hara with a Death Valley Driver.
- The Booty and The Ace (Arik Royal and Faye Jackson) defeated Murder Dino Kill (Nick Gage and Terra Calaway) by disqualification when Calaway ignored the referee’s instructions while beating up Jackson.
- Brian Johnson (w/Coach Gator) defeated Isaiah Frazier in 6:02 with the 1 And Done after interference from Ariela Nyx. The Gator Pit (Johnson, Mikey Banker, Satu Jinn, Jake Garvin, and Nyx) beat down Frazier after the match on Coach Gator’s orders until the Capital Vices made the save.
- Sage Philips won a fatal four-way over Travis Huckabee, Harlem Bravado, and Cain Justice in 9:33 after a brainbuster on Huckabee. Bravado left the match early with an apparent knee injury, but he is not expected to miss much ring time.
- Sadkampf (Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku) over The Ugly Ducklings (Lance Lude and Rob Killjoy with Coach Mikey) when Garrini pinned Killjoy with a stuff piledriver in 8:02. This match was made a tornado match by mutual agreement.
- Tim Donst successfully defended the AIW Absolute Title over PCO in 12:52 by reversing a moonsault into a cradle.
- In the Sadie Hawkins four-way final between POP Culture, The AristoKats, The Breaux & The Babe, and The Booty and The Ace:
- Friedman pinned Keller in 7:17 after the double piledriver;
- Cade pinned Kat at 9:09 by cradling her and holding the tights;
- Jackson pinned Scott at 14:05 with a Space Jam (one of Royal’s signature moves) to win the Sadie Hawkins Invitational.
Enjoy the night!
