Your highlights from around the world for a weekend of indie wrestling:
- Pro Wrestling EVE has already kicked things off in London tonight with Global Women’s Strike, featuring Toni Storm against Meiko Satomura. They have a double-header Saturday back in London, featuring Charli Morgan defending the EVE Championship on both shows.
- CMLL’s weekly offering of Super Viernes features the CMLL Trios Championship on the line as Los Guerreros Laguneros challenge The Cl4n for the straps.
- Friday/Saturday in Logan Square, AAW presents the 3rd Annual Jim Lynam Memorial Tournament. Sixteen wrestlers will square off in single-elimination action, featuring DJ Z ,Fenix, Jimmy Jacobs, Moose, Rich Swann, Sami Callihan, Shane Strickland, Trevor Lee, and more. The Saturday show also features Kylie Rae’s return from injury.
- PROGRESS comes to you live Sunday afternoon from Wembley Arena for Chapter 76. WALTER defends the main title against Tyler Bate, while the undercard features eight teams squaring off in one of the best-named matches ever: the Thunderbastard! Other matches include Matt Riddle’s farewell to non-WWE wrestling and Ilja Dragunov vs. Pete Dunne.
- BEYOND is putting on Please Come Back on Sunday night in Worcester MA with a very interesting concept: in each match, a Beyond regular squares off against someone making their promotional debut. For example, Tracy Williams faces Travis Huckabee, Wheeler YUTA faces Jaxon Stone, Orange Cassidy takes on Marko Stunt, and more.
Bring the insanity, boys!
