Wrestler You Thought Was Going To Be A Star But Didn’t?

What wrestler did you think was going to be a future star, but they ended up flaming out pretty quickly? I thought Mason Ryan, with his young Batista look, had star written all over him when C.M. Punk picked him to join the new Nexus in 2011. Less than a year later, he was gone from the company.

Yup, Mason Ryan had "Vince project" written all over him and was a complete bust. Alex Riley is another one who hit the wall a lot faster than I would have expected. Rene Dupree seemed to be on the fast track upwards given how many times they tried to re-push him but he was just too young. #1 for me is always Teddy Hart, who had every tool and advantage and just completely self-destructed multiple times. The fact that they kept bringing him back and ALMOST tried to push him despite himself shows how much potential he had and then wasted.
