What was the point of Re-signing Brock after WM

By dragging the Brock-Roman title change to Summerslam instead of doing it at WM, did WWE make extra money by keeping Brock as champ after WM and the Greatest Royal Rumble? Shouldn't they have just done it then and done

Maybe they wanted him as champion to get the Fox deal done? That’s the only thing I can think of.
