Hey Scott — A few questions for you regarding Nakamura:

1) When does his contract with WWE end?

2) Do you see him re-signing with the WWE or going back to New Japan for a bit before retiring?

3) Do you think there’s any chance he gets a run with the WWE or Universal Championship regardless of how long it is whether he re-signs or doesn’t?

4) What’s your opinion on WWE Nakamura compared to New Japan Nakamura (as a character, not from an in-ring perspective)?

5) Do you think the WWE has mishandled Nakamura? Has the booking for him been better or worse than you expected?

6) Is there a specific wrestler you want to see him have a program with before he leaves the WWE (excluding anyone he’s already had an extended program with)?

1. It was a long-term deal, not sure of the exact duration.

2. I think he’ll stay here as long as he’s making money.

3. There’s certainly a chance. I, and everyone else, were pretty damn sure he was getting the belt off AJ in one of the numerous title matches, but it never happened. So it could definitely happen later.

4. His babyface character sucked but his heel character has been closer to what he was in Japan.

5. Completely mishandled and turned into just another guy. Once he did those jobs to Jinder, he was done.
