Omega v Okada

Scott- so any idea which way this goes? It's easily the biggest match in a while that you can't really pick a clear winner for. Omega winning it makes sense in that there really isn't anyone left for Okada to face credibly. It also makes an Iwgp defense likely for the US (probably Cody) and gives build to Omega-Ibushi at WK 2019, though the belt isn't needed for that.

A better question is what is Okada without the belt? A victory breaks the IWGP record and puts Okada beyond Ace status. Without the belt though, what does he do? I guess there's the get the belt back road…Okada needs the belt more than Omega.

Oh and 2 out of 3 with no time limit? The match itself could be the greatest of all time or an overlong slog depending on what they book.

Your thoughts and Dominion looks better than anything I've seen from the E in a while.


Gotta go with Kenny. I think it’s time. It lines up nicely with the Cow Palace show and maybe even a rematch at All In.
Also thinking that the Bucks are gonna bring the HOT FIRE against EVIL and Sanada. This should be a gooder.
