I have never understood Jeff Jarrett. The guy is former NWA, and WCW champ, and a multi time IC and US champ. I never thought he had a great character, or ring work. But yet, he is constantly given title runs even at age 50 with the AAA title. Can you explain? I always looked at him as a low level heel. Even in WCW when it was going downhill, they had more options.
2nd, who is the jobber that surprised you the most that never made it? A jobber that had look, moveset, etc. I am thinking Larry Cameron. Dude was a monster, but was nothing in WWE. I think he one a few matches in WCW. I know his ring work was blah, but back then it was not a big deal as a big man.
Jeff Jarrett has the impressive ability to talk up his worth to a promotion far beyond his actual value.
And how can you call Larry Cameron a jobber? Dude was a big star in Stampede and quite a few promotions worldwide. He had a lot of the tools, but the problem is that he was too old after his football career and so any success he had was just playing with house money anyway. Given his lack of experience and previous career already taking a toll, he way overachieved.
