Hey. I've been watching NWA Saturday Night on the network and have gotten up to May 1987. It has really gotten chaotic at this point. Jimmy Garvin (who was a fantastic heel) turned babyface due to the Midnights attacking his 'brother' Ron, but then isn't even involved in that feud, instead start feuding with Flair over Precious. Ole gets turned on by the horsemen, starts teaming with Tim Fucking Horner and then just completely disappears. Murdoch comes in, hangs with Dust for a couple months, turns on him and joins the Russians, gets suspended and then he disappears. I think Rude bamfs while holding the world tag titles very soon also. Any insight on why everything was so haphazard at this time?

Dusty was getting pretty burned out as booker by that point, and Crockett's business was kind of falling apart. It was a rough time, which is why things got to the point where Turner had to bail them out so quickly.
