Let’s say after Smackdown goes to Fox, they keep the brand split going. Unlikely, I’d say, but not impossible. How funny is the idea of NBC/Universal and Fox negotiating with WWE (and more importantly EACH OTHER) over who’s on which show. “Ok, you can have Ronda Rousey, but we get AJ Styles, John Cena, and Randy Orton.” “Goddammit, now you’re being unreasonable!” The idea of network executives sitting around a big table in a board room doing a fantasy draft for real, 1. Strikes me as not totally insane considering the money involved; and 2. Has made me laugh all day.
