Reigns’ character development

I see it’s been a few hours since your last Roman Reigns question, so I thought I would help you out.

Why not just have him get rid of the whole Shield costume? I guy his size and strength shouldn’t have to wear D’Lo Brown’s old chest protector, anyway. It’s not much, but at least it would be a baby step towards giving him an actual character. WWE did a better job of building Brock’s character as a lazy part-timer who only wanted to return to the UFC. Reigns was … I dunno … that other guy? I neither cheer him nor boo him. I just don’t have a reason to. At least get rid of that damn “I’m stuck in a character rut” outfit.
