Richie Steamboat

I was reading your review of the inaugural NXT Championship Tournament in 2012 the other day, and I was wondering whatever became of Richie Steamboat? Did he end up leaving the industry altogether, or is he still active somewhere?
​He retired later in 2012 after suffering (oddly enough) the same back injury that retired his dad, and he hasn't been back since. That being said, he's done ​interviews where he basically said that Ricky came back for that Wrestlemania match, so maybe he'll back again someday as well. But it doesn't seem particularly likely.
