What’s going on with the cruiserweights?

I've noticed there hasn't been any matches on Raw featuring the cruiserweights in about a month, nor has 205 Live even been advertised on Smackdown since the pointless Mixed Match Challenge started. Any idea what they are doing with the division? It seems to be a waste of time and money to just have them on an hour show a week on a pay network not everyone gets.
