DDP in WCW Creative

Hi Scott,

I've been following some Observer reposts for 1998 and one thing that's popped up that I wasn't aware of was DDP's official involvement with WCW's creative team in late 1998 around the same time Kevin Nash was taking over as booker.

My question is do you remember anything about this from the time or anything he was involved in? Obviously Nash's run is pretty infamous and has been discussed to death for nearly 20 years but I can't remember ever hearing about Page being officially part of WCW 's creative before.

I don't particularly remember that, no. Although I don't think DDP has a great mind for the business or anything, outside of getting DDP over. Which isn't a knock on him, he did a fantastic job of making himself into a top guy, but not everyone is cut out to be a booker and leader of men like Kevin Nash, smartest man in the room.
