Smackdown writers

I keep reading that Brian “Road Dogg” James is Smackdown's Head Writer. Whatever happened to former NXT Booker Ryan Ward? Is he still with the company, and/or writing for Smackdown? If not, that would explain why Smackdown has been in the toilet the last several months.

Good question, I lost track of who was in charge of what ages ago because they kept changing them around and it was pointless to make sense of it when Vince is the ultimate decision maker on everything.
