Braun Strowman skipping NXT

Hey Scott,

Why did they have Braun skip NXT? Wasn't this basically the reason NXT was created? To give homegrown talent, with no experience, a platform to practice without getting exposed national-wide?

It couldn't have been for shock value for when he came up because they immediately shunted him into the background of the Wyatt Family.

Same reason that Mandy Rose was never on NXT TV much: They wanted Braun to be a big star and not have the developmental stigma on him. Basically it's best at this point to just think of NXt as the development of HHH as booker rather than any kind of real training system.
