Why Did Bayley Fail?

Scott,

Bayley seemed like a lock to be the female John Cena before being called up. Her connection with young female fans was something special.

Now, after the Women's Rumble and her lackluster placement, where does she go from here?

Is there a reason you can pinpoint as to why she couldn't carry over that momentum to the main roster?

Vince and especially Kevin Dunn didn't get the character and didn't see how it was marketable, would be my guess. And then once she was 50/50'd into another character on the roster, she was dead in the water.
