WCW 2K20?

How much traction/excitement do you think WWE could get if (similar to the XFL announcement) they announced a relaunch of WCW in 2020? Maybe even negotiate a Saturday night time slot based on tradition and being a not competitive night ratings wise anymore? There is a marketplace for a more sports-based product as NXT and NJPW has shown. They could start graduating NXT guys there that may be better in that type of product than WWE (like a Gargano or Undisputed Era) and move over underutilized guys like Cesaro or Sami Zayn from the main roster to prop it up as a legit touring brand. Canceling 205 and shifting all the cruiserweights there would also probably help everyone. You could even return a Jericho or Goldberg or Sting to that environment for a one odd and it would mean so much more. With the slow rollout they could also tease the roster, the return of events like Starrcade or War Games and build up buzz. I think considering they feel the need to have even more content with the network this isn’t as crazy as it sounds?

I dunno, I feel like WCW is such a loser branding at this point that trying to resurrect anything with it would be a huge waste. I mean, they chose to bring back ECW before touching WCW! I think working on making NXT a viable third brand is a better strategy in the long term.
