Ronda = Biggest WWE Signing Ever?

Saw this opinion today from a fairly well-known wrestling enthusiast/personality and it seems like a good debate topic.

Not sure if i would jump to this conclusion just yet. I am actually quite skeptical of Ronda’s ability to perform in WWE, outside of the initial interest she will obviously bring in the upcoming months.

Wouldn’t Tyson in 1998 be a much bigger deal than this, at least at this point? I know it was more or less a one-off, but he was at the height of his notoriety.

Any others that come to mind?

Tyson was huge, it turned the company around. But that one was just the WM and Rumble appearances, not a full time deal or anything. Ronda is full-time! She pointed to the sign and everything! Obviously Brock in 2012 was really big as well, because he still gets mainstream cred for the UFC connections.
