Survivor Series 2011 trolling

Hey Scott,

My son and I were at Survivor Series 2011 at MSG and the two biggest cheers before the main event were for Zack Ryder in the opener and Daniel Bryan after the Show/Henry match. This is where I noticed the WWE tendency to troll its audience. Ryder is a NYer, Bryan is a huge ROH guy over in NY. Why not book them? Why intentionally anger paying customers?

​To this day I don't think we know for sure why, actually. It's even weirder because Vince always treats the New York crowds like the word of God, so you'd think he'd deliver everything they'd want to see. But hey, the show was a huge flop, so maybe he should have. ​
